Friends and Families of Fayette County Hospital and Long Term Care was formed in 1988 when concerned citizens rallied to support the hospital.

The organization decided its goals would be:

•   To promoted the services at Fayette Hospital and Long Term Care.

•   To stress the need for the citizens of Fayette County to use and support Fayette County Hospital and Long Term Care.

•   To raise funds for the purchase of capital equipment for the hospital and Long Term Care.

The Goal of the Future for Friends and Families is to assist in providing for continue improvements for the hospital and Long Term Care and to assist the hospital in meetings its demands for improvements to the healthcare of the residents of Fayette County.
