Long Term Care was built in 1972. The facility was added the main
hospital building. Long Term Care has a capacity of 104 skilled care
beds, of which 18 are Medicare Certified. We are accredited by
the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations
and are a member of the Illinois Hospital Association. We also
participated in the Medicaid program as well as recognized private
insurance plans.
In 1997, our 18 Medicare certified beds were moved to the newly renovated north wing of the third floor. This allows the physicians better access to the patients that are more compromised. Our Goals are: -To fulfill appropriated spiritual, emotional and physical needs in a surrounding which recognizes the dignity and worth of the individual. -To render care with a positive attitude through an expression of love and concern -To keep a facility which is safe, clean, bright, cheerful and well equipped to meet various needs of our residents. -To provide care to help our residents to be as physically, socially and mentally active as possible. -To carefully select and train our staff. -To inform and involve our residents, residents' family, church constituents, staff and community our goals. -To involve residents and family in their plan of care
